A Session Close to Home
This session will always hold a special place in my heart. During the third week of September, I had the honor of photographing my parents for their very first professional photos in nearly 15 years. We stayed close to home and chose the Conewago Recreation Trail in Elizabethtown, PA for their session. It’s one of my favorite local spots, filled with tall grasses and late-season wildflowers that create such a beautiful, natural backdrop.
The Beauty of a Late September Evening
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It was one of those calm, overcast evenings with no harsh sunlight, no rain, and the temperature sat right in that sweet spot between summer and fall. The soft, even light made the colors pop beautifully and created the kind of glow I love for natural light couple photography.
Timeless Style for a Fall Couple Session
For their outfits, they kept things simple by coordinating neutral tones that paired beautifully with the soft greens and golden hues of the field. The natural textures of the trail added the perfect warmth and depth to their images.
Love Worth Capturing
This evening with my parents reminded me that love deserves to be celebrated at every stage. Whether it’s been 15 years since your last photos or you’re planning your very first session together, it’s always worth documenting the season you’re in. If you’re looking for a couples photographer in Elizabethtown or the Lancaster area, I’d love to capture your story in a way that feels like you, just like this one.
