A Perfect September Day in Lititz, Pennsylvania

Julia and Brennan’s September wedding at Elizabeth Furnace Events in Lititz, Pennsylvania was one for the books. After 12 years together, these two finally tied the knot surrounded by their closest family and friends on a truly perfect fall day. With blue skies, golden light, and not a drop of rain in sight, their wedding day felt like something out of a storybook. Nestled in the woods just outside of Lancaster, PA, Elizabeth Furnace is a stunning historic venue tucked into a little valley surrounded by tall trees and timeless stone buildings. The property feels both secluded and romantic which is the perfect blend of history and nature. Every corner of the venue, from the tree-lined paths to the charming stonework, provided the dreamiest backdrop for Julia and Brennan’s celebration.

A Ceremony in the Historic Stone Barn

The couple’s ceremony took place inside one of Elizabeth Furnace’s beautiful stone barns, offering a cozy, rustic charm that perfectly suited the early fall setting. The warm light highlighted every emotion-filled moment as Julia and Brennan exchanged vows after more than a decade together. You could feel the love and anticipation in the room; it was one of those ceremonies that reminds you why weddings are so special.

Golden Hour Magic During Cocktail Hour

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour outdoors, surrounded by nature and the venue’s peaceful wooded setting. The golden light that poured over the property during this time was absolutely magical. The bridal portraits taken during this time were to die for! The golden-hour glow, the way the light danced through the trees, and the joy on their faces made every image feel timeless and full of life.

The decor for the day was soft and romantic, featuring neutral tones and very pale, pastel pink florals accented by light greenery. Everything felt bright, clean, and effortlessly elegant, exactly the kind of aesthetic that complements the natural beauty of the venue. The bridesmaids wore light brown, nude-toned dresses that paired beautifully with the soft florals, while the groomsmen kept things classic in black. Together, the color palette felt cohesive and modern; it was a perfect reflection of Julia and Brennan’s style.
